I started playing The Last of Us from the beginning. I remember almost everything from 4 years ago when I played the original. I have problems keeping my focus in this kind of cinematic game, but of course, this is one of the good ones.
OK, I got completely immersed in this game and didn't notice playing for 4 hours straight. It's really hard to put down. I'm constantly impressed by the detailed graphics, and the combat just keep getting better and better. I'm playing the same sloppy style I used for MGS5, and it's paying off. Lot's of intense improvised situations, just on the edge of getting out of hand, but most of the time, I seem to be able to scrape through.
That's just about the cutest video game bunny I've ever seen... Oh, and it's dead.
Completed the game on Normal difficulty.
The last chapter wasn't my favourite. The hospital rescue made sense from Joel's character's standpoint, but the whole shootout wasn't great, and the ending after that felt a little bit flat compared to the rest of the story. Still, 'The Last of Us' is a pretty great game. I didn't expect to enjoy the gameplay as much as I did, and everything else is pretty great.
