  • This seems like it could be the Magic game I've been waiting for. At least, playing a bit of the tutorial makes me think so. It has good UI, satisfying animations, and sound design that fits the game.
  • I completed the tutorial and defeated Nicol Bolas. The tutorial games are completely rigged, so that wasn't a big accomplishment. :)

  • Hmm... Is the only AI battle the 'Practice' option with the Will-o-the-Wisp? Because that is too easy to be fun.

  • I guess this is officially out now. I should try playing it again and see if there is some single-player content.

  • Nope, it seems exactly the same. I played another bot match, and the A.I. is still too stupid to be fun.

  • Thomas J suggested we played some Magic online. We played for a couple of hours and I just used the preconstructed decks. There are so many new cards and rules, that it feels very new and fresh, and also I'm constantly confused. I'm enjoying it, especially how there are a not of new rules that simulate playing pen and paper RPGs.
  • Just checking: currently, Wizards of the Coast owns Dungeons & Dragons. And they are themselves owned by Hasbro. Magic / Transformers cross-over coming soon, maybe?

  • Just lost a match to Nabaz playing with a very annoying deck, where he's looking at all the cards. Typical. :)
