The M1928 that I have enjoyed using, is a revision of the Thompson submachine gun, the 'Tommy Gun'.
There was an open multiplayer beta this weekend, and I played a few matches. It plays very similar to other modern CoD games, but it's WWII. There is a nice feature where you can select your preference for how many players play on a map, with low values making for a more tactical and less chaotic experience.
The beta was still active this morning, and I got in a 30 minute session, where I was just destroying everyone. If people are sleepy or bots, I don't know, but it was a lot of fun.
I played the last two hours of the beta. Fun game.
