- I was confused about how this is a Mystery Dungeon game, when it's developed exclusively by SquareSoft, not Chunsoft. The first game in this series, 'Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon', exclusively released in Japan, was developed by SquareSoft, with permission from Chunsoft to use the 'Mystery Dungeon' name, and development was supervised by Koichi Nakamura, producer of the first Mystery Dungeon games. Nakamura also directed and programmed Dragon Warrior, the first game in the Dragon Quest series.
