I was always curious about this, because I both really liked the colorful retro-futuristic art style, and the idea of the talking gun. The game is full of fun surprises that I'm enjoying a lot. The Justin Roiland dialogue gets annoying pretty quickly, though, and I'm skipping a lot of it. The FPS gameplay is fun but a bit rough. It's clearly incredibly inspired by the Halo games, but way less polished in every way.
Apparently, this game contains all of the 1994 movie 'Tammy and the T-Rex' starring Denise Richards.
I'm watching it now. I turned off the game music, and parked myself in front of the TV. My gun seems to be watching the movie as well. It's about a teenager who gets abducted by a mad scientist who transfers his brain to an animatronic Tyrannosaurus. Clever way of featuring a dinosaur in your movie without making a convincing effect, I guess.
The 'THIS(tm)' ad is pretty great. :)
