After watching the Giantbomb dudes playing Windjammers over and over again, I had to try it. I played some games with Erik at Playdead. This game is a whole lot of fun.
I set up a MAME machine for our Playdead Housewarming party, mainly to see if people wanted to play Windjammers. It was a success, a lot of people played and enjoyed this Data East 'classic'.
Dammit, came so close to beating Windjammers two times in a row on Easy difficulty. Reached the last dude and ran out of continues every time.
Jonas visited my work and we played a few rounds of the old Flying Power Disc, which still is a whole lot of fun.
At a friday bar at work, I played some Windjammers on the company MAME machine with Erik and Jeppe N.
Malu and I played over half an hour of Windjammers on the MiSTer, and both liked it.
