This PS3 version of the original Ninja Gaiden for Xbox seems very similar to the original. However, Tomonobu Itagaki, who directed the original, was not involved in making Sigma. He even condemned it in an interview: 'It was a weird chimera of a game, with some things here and some things there. From a game design standpoint, I don't think it was done well at all.'

  • I reached the first savepoint dragon head thingie. Saving and loading does not restore your health. Having not played a modern Ninja Gaiden game in 6 years, I've forgotten all my Ninja Gaiden knowledge. I have to re-learn the basics, such as: Lives of a Thousand Gods give full health and permanently increase your life bar.
