Horizontal shooter by Konami, similar to R-Type, but with some extremely crazy graphics. Excellent detailed and well-orchestrated soundtrack by the Konami music wizards.

  • I played the two first levels before the insanity of the graphics and the extreme difficulty got to me. But what a soundtrack! Those Konami dudes sure knows a thing or two about getting a YM2151 FM chip and a Konami sampler chip to sound like a million bucks.

  • One of the games I streamed to YouTube tonight, Xexex is one of the weirder looking shooters in existence. I don't really like playing it that much.
