Hybris was one of my favourite Amiga games, a cool shooter where you could upgrade your ship and transform it. Terra Cresta seems to be a major influence on Hybris, as it has all of the same mechanics, and similar graphics.

  • Got the score 45500 in MAME. Got him! I have to be careful to always look at my actual ship for dodging bullets, not any of the extension parts.

  • It's tricky to get anywhere in this game, as you have 3 lives and then you start over from the beginning. You do earn extra lives along the way, and there are continue points throughout the game. So I guess I just have to play better.

  • I finally managed to install a driver and get a working setup with my PS4 controller connected to my PC via Bluetooth, allowing control of MAME through DS4Windows. It works flawlessly.
  • Got the score 45500 in MAME. I love that there is a special jingle before launching the final ship.
