Fun, well-designed Solitaire-RPG hybrid. Permanent unlocks boost decks (similarly to Hearthstone) and items and spells are purchased from a randomized shop every game. Devising a loadout consisting of spells and items that are then used to implement a strategy gets increasingly rewarding the further you progress into a game.

This was free on Android, and has ad-based progression stuff. I think I can buy something to disable that. I'll just try it out first. I'm not super convinced by how fun the number-sequence gameplay actually ends up being, but everything else about it seems charming and well-made in that Puzzle Quest-kind of way.

Got the score 6. That armor-ignoring acid damage got the best of me.

Got the score 10. Always remember to save some card-destroying magic for the end of a battle.

Oh, I wanted to buy the Rogue deck, but apparently you can't purchase other decks without paying for the game. 33 DKK for the whole thing. I'll think about it.

Got the score 13. My best run was based on the aggresive strategy of stunning the enemies instead of raising my hit points.

Completed the game with Warrior. My stun strategy turned out to be very effective. For the final couple of battles, the opponent started out stunned for 2 turns (item), and I started out with 6 Agility (4 from Emerald Coin, 2 from another item). This enabled me to immediately cast Haste on my Shield Bash spell, lowering its cost to 3 Defense. I would quickly get more Defense, and cast Shield Bash, stacking 2 more turns of stun on the opponent. This would go on, until I got enough Agility to cast another Haste on Shield Bash, lowering it's cost to 2 Defense, the minimum. For the final turn of the final battle, I had 14 health and 10 armor, the end boss was stunned for 3 turns, and had only had a 2 or 3 turns for the entire battle.

Completed the game with Warrior. I wanted to show this game to Nabaz and started a new game with Warrior, which I ended up completing. The final boss never got a turn, and at one point, he was stunned for 26 turns.

I have trouble completing the game with any other class than Warrior. The best luck I had was 12 battles with the Monk.

Completed the game with Rogue. Finally I won with Rogue, using the combination of Strategy turning every front card into a Defense type, followed by Thunder Shock to stun the enemy for a number of turns equal to the number of a specified type (Defense, so that's one turn stunned for each front card), and then Overwhelm to damage all front cards.

Completed the game with Bard. In Sisimiut, Greenland, performing at Arctic Sounds Festival, and without free internet, I found some time for playing Android games. I finally completed the game with the Bard, and thus with all classes.
