  • This is a direct port of the Amiga original, without the redrawn sprites of the PC Engine version. It's a little bit rough around the edges, but then, so is the Amiga version. The music is emulating the Amiga music, but doesn't really sound good.

  • The Japanese release of this game, released with the subtitle 'Mashou no Okite', is different! The sprites look like those of the PC Engine version. You can select to play with 18 hit points, and using those, I went through the tree and almost reached the castle, even though I played very sloppily. No continues, as far as I can see.

  • Got the U Can't Touch This achievement. -

    Defeated the Pyroceratops (at the bottom of the well) without taking damage.

  • I played both the Japanese and Western releases of this for RetroAchievements. It's fun, except that I can't get the 'play without doing X'-style achievements to work. The Japanese version is much easier to deal with, because you can spam the punches extremely quickly compared to the Western version.

  • Got the Marathon Man achievement. -

    Reached the castle on 6 health mode.
