- 1011Completed chapter 2/26. OK, I finally started playing this on the MegaMedia PS3, borrowing Maged's game.
- 1012Immediately, the great climbing mechanics remind me of 'Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time', and the smooth non-shooting-focused gameplay reminds me of 'Alan Wake'. Both awesome games. :)
- 1013Completed chapter 6/26. The chapters 'Urban Warfare' and 'Desperate Times' are extremely graphically impressive. The wartorn city is amazingly detailed, yet the frame rate is never bad. The gameplay is great, with over-the-top action and some very cool climbing sequences. The subtle graphical hints that guide the climbing are nice, with yellow and blue objects that just stick out enough from the rest of the chaotic scenery.
- 1014Completed chapter 7/26.
- 1015Oh. There is a notebook. With lots of hand-written pages and drawings. Oh, Uncharted 2, you know just how to please me... :)
- 1016Use a crumbling walkway to simultaneously create tension and create an optimized route for a puzzle destination? Why not, indeed?
- 1017Completed chapter 15/26.
- 1019Completed chapter 17/26. There's something that bothers me about the notebook. It does not fit the Nathan Drake character at all. Walking around in the Tibetan village, he's all 'Hey, don't anyone speak no english 'round here?', and then his notebook contains meticulous drawings and insightful information about the culture and art. It just doesn't add up.
- 1021Completed chapter 21/26. A lot of Indiana Jones-esque action sequences.
- 1024Completed chapter 24/26. Damn it! The power just went out ... did it autosave? It did. Phew.
- 1025Completed the game on Normal difficulty.
