- This looks neat and was on sale for 8 EUR.
- I played a few turns in the tutorial campaign. It plays very much like a Civilization game.
- In my first game, I got in trouble with production and got overwhelmed by Necrons. Damn robots are so hard to kill.
- Completed the game with Space Marines on Very Easy difficulty (1v1). I beat the easiest possible game I could set up. The main challenge was dealing with map critters, the Orks proved no challenge whatsoever. I think I'm ready for a game on normal difficulty. Maybe I should get some revenge on the Necrons.
- Completed the game with Necrons on Normal difficulty (1v1). I beat a normal game. I had to learn that Necrons only can build bases on Necron Tombs, but otherwise I didn't have a lot of trouble. It's very neat that Necron units can teleport back to their bases.
I started a new game on Normal difficulty with Orks, playing against the Astra Militarum. I'm slowly getting destroyed, don't know how to play Orks.
My Orks game seemed to be a lost cause, so I restarted with the Orks on Easy difficulty on a Medium size map instead. I think Medium is my preferred size for a 1v1 game.
