Facts

  • Possessing multiple of the same Soul type levels up the soul.

  • VGCartography made one of the best overview maps of this game.

  • Dash Cancel - you can dash out of the attack recovery to attack again.

  • Flying Armor - I had trouble with some big jumps in the Condemned Tower, but I realized that if I equip the Flying Armor and activate it during the whole jump and double jump, I can jump an entire screen without losing height.

  • Paranoia - to fight the boss Paranoia, I need the Axe Armor (Lost Village), Killer Clown (got already), and Ukoback souls.

Analysis

  • Weapon Upgrade Tree - this game has a weapon upgrade tree where a weapon can be upgraded again and again using enemy souls, very similar to the Souls games.

  • Rotating Pixels - This, as other DS games, mixes rotated and rectilinear bitmap graphics. The bitmaps look great, but the rotated ones look less great.
