I have not been playing Dead Space for a while now. I played on Hard, and it was just too much. The fear of mutated freaks lurking around every corner is bad enough in itself - it is much worse when they actually kill you once in a while. So I ramped it down and resumed my game on Normal difficulty. Actually, I'm a bit dissatisfied with the difficulty; it is just a little too easy on normal and a little too hard on hard.

I just found some severed limbs neatly arranged in a circle... That's not the work of a mindless mutant... What is happening here?

OK, now I'm doing this...

Completed Chapter 10: End of Days. Gave the Regenerator the old engine exhaust treatment. Now, it is no more...

Completed Chapter 11: Alternate Solutions. Why didn't I decapitate the monster that is posing as the girlfriend when I had the chance? Well, just call me a romantic.

completed the game on Medium difficulty.
ARGH!!! God damn shock effects! That was just mean... Anyways, the end boss fight was really cool - very polished and well animated.

Hmm... I can't play 'New Game+' on other difficulties than Medium. However, I *can* get the 'Epic Tier 3 Engineer' achievement by completing on Impossible difficulty, and I can use cheats to make it a bit less impossible. Maybe I'll do that.

After looking in my artbook, Joakim wanted to see the original Dead Space, so I started a new game on Hard. What a cool game.

Vincent wanted to see Dead Space, so we started a new game emulated on my Xbox One. I thought it seemed a bit boring on normal difficulty, so we resumed my game on hard difficulty, which was maybe a bit too hard...
