- Nevin and I solved the first 5 puzzles without too much trouble. The sixth one, 'soroban' gave us a lot of trouble, and Nevin used a hint that contained a word that made us solve it pretty quickly. We were then immediately stuck on the 7th one, 'jigsaw', and decided to call it a night before we were tempted to get another hint.
- I got home and quickly solved the jigsaw puzzle. Very clever. This game is awesome.
- OK, I isolated the hidden pattern in puzzle 8, 'linear matrix e', but what to do with it?
- Took me a long time and a lot of attempts to crack it manually, to figure out what this type of pattern was. When I used the correct tool, it was super easy.
- 3-1 was super easy.
- 3-2 is done.
- Hmm... What could 'ZCSRUGNECZQBPYSGKVURUTTSGQBUCTACNSBE' mean?
- Ah, the filename 'fairplay_novasuper' is a hint. It's getting straight up crypto now.
