- Below was the thing I wanted to try the most at the Day of the Devs demo area at GDC. I played the demo for a while, reaching level II. The game has a great atmosphere and the basic gameplay is fun and reasonably challenging. I have to play it when it comes out, for sure.
- And now it's out! And it's on Xbox Game Pass.
- Erik and I played almost 2.5 hours of Below. We didn't hate it, but was a bit discouraged when I died on level 3 and lost everything including our lantern (I think). It was enough to get us to jump over to playing Ashen instead.
- Martin and I deleted my save game and started the game anew to see and listen to the amazing intro sequence. The music in this game is pretty great.
- Hmm... There is a new EXPLORE mode coming, and it seems less punishing and potentially more fun.
- Below is no longer on Game Pass.
