- I can see where Volgarr the Viking came from. Rastan itself could be inspired by Ghosts 'n Goblins and Rygar, with a lot of Conan the Barbarian.
- I reached the castle in ROUND 1/6. Rastan has checkpoints coupled with unlimited continues, which makes for a fun but fair challenge.
- Completed ROUND 1/6. I am a brave fighter to have cleared such a difficult stage.
- Completed ROUND 2/6.
- This game is bad ass. Rastan controls well, not unlike Castlevania, but with complete air control and the ability to move while attacking. Shadow of the Beast II seems inspired by this.
