Jeppe bought the new Nintendo on day one, and this was the launch game that seemed the most interesting. I spent around half an hour playing with the new device, snapping the Joy-Cons in and out of the console and the Grip. It's all very neat, but the buttons on the Joy-Cons feel a bit small for my adult hands. The new Zelda game seems interesting. It's very much an open-world game right from the beginning, and I started wandering in a random direction. This was rewarded by encounters with interesting areas and dynamic enemies. I also appreciate that you can seemingly climb most rock surfaces, and the stamina system seem well thought-out. The graphics work well, but not without a few issues, most obvious is the frame rate that seems to drop below 30 FPS a lot, and the shadow artifacts, which seem a bit rough. Also, Links animations are a bit stiff and unnatural. Still, I look forward to spending some more time with the game at some point.

Jeppe brought his Switch and I got my hands on it for half an hour or so, exploring a bit more. I met an old dude who maybe would give me a parachute.
