Mikkel, Tuki, Erik, and I played a couple of hours of this interesting detective game with 1-bit graphics. The logic deduction puzzles seem fun, but watching someone else play the early parts of the game when you haven't seen it before is extremely confusing. Maybe at a later point, I can give it a shot on my own.

Mikkel, Tuki, Erik, and I got back into Obra Dinn, and slowly solved a bit more of this giant mystery. I'm no longer frustrated about the game, and am satisfied with going along with the others on this deductive puzzle.

On our way home, I was talking to Erik about classifying this type of deductive puzzle, and it actually reminds me of Sudoku or Picross.

We played through some more chapters, with me eyeing a walkthrough to make sure we didn't misunderstand any key details. The annoying slowness and repetetiveness of this game combined with poor controls makes for a sometimes frustrating experience. I feel this game could have been made simpler and less flashy but way more enjoyable by cutting a few annoying details.
