  • I wanted to try this Trek-style game for the NES. It's pretty cool, you fly around the usual grid with planets instead of space stations, and you shoot down Lambda-class shuttles from Star Wars.
  • And then it turns into a bad version of Scramble. Disappointing.

  • I beat the first Star System stage 3 times, and failed the Base Station stage every time. These scrolling shoot 'em up levels ruin the enjoyment completely for me, even though I think the Star System stages are actually quite fun, and a really nice implementation of Star Raiders-style gameplay. I love that the enemies look like Star Wars Lambda-class shuttles from Return of the Jedi, instead of the TIE fighter-looking enemies from Star Raiders.
