An alien creature named Darc Seed lands on earth, turns the population of the U.S. into zombies, and brings the Statue of Liberty to life to 'do his dirty work'. The disembodied head of the samurai Namakubi is awakened and flies to the U.S., where it destroys buildings, tanks, and aircraft by shooting eyes out of its sockets. This is a side-scrolling shoot 'em up, and it's incredibly crazy.

Facts

  • Abarenbou Tengu - The Japanese version of this game is called 'Abarenbou Tengu', and you play as a floating tengu mask instead of an ugly head.

  • This game takes place in 1999.
  • I hate the vertical beams that are not clearly in the foreground, and rip Namakubi apart in a second. Very annoying.

  • Playing on RetroArch - beat level I-I. I'm still annoyed by the beams.
