This game actually does the thing I always was curious about: when you're playing an instrument, you are actually triggering samples, unlike in Guitar Hero, where you just mute or unmute a prerecorded track. At times, you will play the drums, and the timing of the song can completely fall about if you're not precise.
The music implementation seems off at times, it seems like the tracks can get out of sync. This is a Unity game, I wonder what kind of music implementation they have?
