I fell for their stupid scam and ordered the Deluxe Edition to get it a few days early - also with 6 additional characters. ALso, a Jean-Claude Van Damme skin for Johnny Cage, which is key. This version was 739 DKK.

I got the game early, like last time. I picked it up on my way home from work, and installed it. It starts with screen reader enabled, which is hilariously bad speech synthesis. I enjoyed navigating the menus a bit with it turned on.

I discovered Smoke's second fatality by randomly trying out combinations: DFB triangle (any)

I learned that I can do a fatality with the Kameo character! Amazing!

Malu and I played through Story Mode, which was extremely entertaining, especially the crazy ending.

Baraka is fun and easy to play with.

I should have picked Sareena, they are 'sisters'.

General Shao is Shao Khan.

This guy looks like a rejected member of The Road Warriors, but plays more like a UFC fighter. He has the most brutal fatalities, I was almost shocked!
- Completed the game with Rain (Frost) (Klassic Tower).
Rain is interesting, he can do teleport combos. I love Frost's fatality - you get to see the opponent's head on a frozen skeleton.

I thought I saw a squirrel on the title screen the other day, but it hasn't shown up again. Now I wonder if I was delirious? Was the squirrel ever there?

I started playing Invasion mode. I didn't really like it at first, because it takes place on a map where you slowly move between nodes in 30 FPS. But then you get into fights, and it's fun again.
- Got the Who Was That??? trophy.

We finished the Story Mode chapter 15 again with Kitana.

Squirrel! I saw it earlier, and wanted to show it to Malu, but then it didn't show up! But now I caught it on the Elgato!

Tanya is super fun to play with, very flexible moveset.
- Completed the game with Geras (Stryker) (Klassic Tower).
I can't figure out how to play Geras. He's slow and has very confusing moves.
- Completed the game with Sindel (Kung Lao) (Klassic Tower).
- Completed the game with Kitana (Motaro) (Klassic Tower).
- Completed the game with Mileena (Sonya) (Klassic Tower).
Mileena has a very powerful moveset, lots of projectiles and teleports.
- Completed the game with Havik (Kano) on Medium difficulty (Klassic Tower).
