An enhanced remake of PC Engine classic Military Madness, which contains the original 16-mission campaign, as well as an entirely new campaign, and many extra bonus missions. Apart from fun 3D cutscenes and unit previews, the only gameplay differences are that:
- You can save in the middle of a mission, and
- You can preview enemy unit movement and attack range directly on the map (instead of counting out the hexes yourself)

Analysis
After playing the original game again, I'm starting to think of this game as the same game with different maps and 3D battle scenes. Even the unit sprites seem to be reused from the original.
I like this a lot, but it has a few frustrating issues:
- the backgrounds look like crap, a blurry mess of poorly defined landscapes. It doesn't matter that much, but I wish they had done something sharper for this, the original looks way better.
- There is a noticable loading pause before viewing unit stats and 3D model. I guess I'm OK with that for viewing the model, but it would be a small thing to be able to view unit stats on the map without the 3D model.
I slight fix for 2. is setting the MiSTer load speed options to max, seems to work without issues.
