This Game has 162 Tropies - It seems like Poncle wanted way more than the allowed amount of trophies on PSN, and the way it was accomplished seems unique. The game doesn't have any DLC you can purchase yet, however, the base game only has 142 trophies, but the trophy list has these pseudo-DLCs containing extra trophies:
- Gem Pack 1-4 (13 trophies each)
- Levels (13 trophies) with trophies for completing levels
- Passives (13 trophies) with trophies for playing a number of cards
- Relics (13 trophies) with trophies for finding relics
It seems like the workaround for adding more trophies is to put out fake DLC that all players get automatically. These DLC packs add 13*7 = 91 extra trophies in total.
I took a look at the trophies Vampire Survivors, it's exactly the same setup with a total of 254 trophies.
I remember talking to a developer that were making a game for Xbox 360 and Xbox One, and they hated Achievements so much that they were in dialogue with Microsoft to try to get out of having them in their game. In the end, they found a way to put them in. I guess some developers want more, some want less Achievements/Trophies.
