- 8471Another free game with my Xbox Live Gold subscription. That title screen music goes right to my 80's action movie-watching soul. They have the pitch bend on the flute sample, and even the shakuhachi. That makes me so happy. :)
- 8472I played a few levels in Vietnam War 4 and the spooky Holy Grail area, and even though all the writing is pretty bad, and the gameplay additions range from superfluous to downright horrible (platforming sections), the basic Trials gameplay is fun, and the levels are crazy rollercoasters with fun surprises at every turn. And I'm loving the Powerglove faux 80's soundtrack.
- 8474I played some more levels, and I still enjoy the fantastic soundtrack, and the fun rollercoaster ride levels, but man, they keep having platforming levels and they are *horrible*. I can't understand why they would keep these in the game, since they are awful almost to the point of being unplayable.
- 8475The Mars/Hell area had some really fun surreal level designs. I'm still weirded out by how bad the platforming sections are compared to the driving sections. I'm also not a fan of the jetpack.
- 8476Completed the game. I completed the main story. I like a lot about this game, the soundtrack is really great, the level design is cool, the graphics is fun and detailed - the best it has ever been in the series, the story is dumb but in a way that doesn't really bother me. However, the bad parts of the gameplay are so bad and appear so frequently that the whole game loses a big part of its appeal.
