  • I played enough MudRunner to know that I should enjoy this. I just ordered a physical copy.

  • I started playing the unpatched version of this game while waiting for the 1.04 patch to download. I was a little disappointed with the unstable frame rate, even on my PS4 Pro. Otherwise, it seems like a giant improvement over its predecessor, MudRunner: SnowRunner has a nice map with a usable waypoint system, more intuitive driving controls, a garage where you satisfyingly can purchase and modify a growing collection of trucks, and even a soundtrack with nice ambient truck music. Weirdly, as Malu pointed out, I have played this game for over an hour and seen absolutely no snow.

  • The 1.05 patch was installed, and the game now runs at a solid 30 FPS, with lots of small improvements in the interface and controls. I'm feeling good, driving around a huge map and discovering towers, upgrades, and new trucks.

  • After a snail's paced nightmare of getting trucks with trailers stuck in mud, and without any money to change tires or upgrade an engine, I *finally* managed to deliver the materials to build a bridge. It did it the way I should have tried from the beginning: grabbed a truck with a simple flat/sideboard bed and no trailer, go to a cargo point, select the right cargo for the mission, and deliver. Couldn't be simpler.
  • Holy Moses, I just saw the 'United We Drive' trailer. What an amazing spoof on the Death Stranding trailers. I think a lot of people felt as I did, that the two games were surprisingly similar in tempo and feel.
  • Truly the Death Stranding of truck simulators.

  • My truck broke down and ran out of fuel. I used another truck to drag it to a fuel trailer and refuel it.
  • I was slowly inching my way through a muddy lake to unlock a mission, pondering why I'm still playing this game.

  • After a bit of frustration with the East part of the Michigan map, I realized the thing that was preventing me from progressing: I'm trying to go through muddy areas with trucks that are not suitable for off-road. I have one truck that is very suitable for off-road, the Scout 800, but I didn't think to use it for transporting stuff. I retrieved a Scout flatbed trailer and now I can transport stuff from the muddy areas without trouble. Now Michigan seems open for progress.
  • I transported a ridiculously big mining equipment trailer across the map.

  • After some annoyances with non-4WD trucks, I drove to the next area, which I've started exploring.
