OK, Killzone, here we go, 9 chapters. After a cutscene that drives home that Helgast are basically Nazi, there is a short tutorial with a nice twist.
  • 1993
Eurgh, and then it becomes really stupid.
  • 1994
    Completed 2/9 chapters.
  • 1995
What a huge disparity between the movement speed of the mechs in the game and in the cutscenes.
  • 1996
    Completed 3/9 chapters.
  • 1997
I like the Helghast Trooper Carriers, weird small four-legged mechs...
  • 1998
StA-11SE silenced submachine gun with infinite ammo? Hell yeah.
  • 1999
Argh, being attacked by local wildlife, spidery things and plants.
  • 2012-09-04
  • 2000
    Completed 4/9 chapters.
  • 2012-09-07
  • 2003
    Completed 5/9 chapters.
  • 2005
Great that Sev chooses to take off his helmet and blow his cover instead of kill Chairman Stahl. Stupid, Sev. Stupid. Stupid. Good thing, though, Malcolm McDowell's Stahl is pretty awesome.
  • 2012-09-08
  • 2006
    Completed 7/9 chapters.
  • 2007
Man, this reaches Roland Emmerich-heights of stupidity. The part where Sev gets rescued from three of the ninja dudes? So dumb.
  • 2008
I did like the MAWLR, though - that thing was EPIC.
  • 2009
    Completed 8/9 chapters.
  • 2010
Completed the game. Yay, Blue stopped Red from using Green to attack Blue.
  • 2011
Technically, and when concerned with visuals and audio, this is as good as its predecessor, but the stupidity of the plot and the characters (except for Stahl, who's awesome) just drags the whole thing down to a lower level. I just lost interest along the way, and Killzone 3 never really got its hooks into me.
