- 3631After researching a bit on how to set up PuTTY to use 256 colors and finding some readable bitmap fonts, I tried playing the Linux version of DoomRL. Unfortunately, no matter how good it looks, I still suck at DoomRL and died on level 3. :(

- 6406Upgrading your weapon with mods really helps. My Combat Shotgun is awesome now. The 'You feel relatively safe now' message seems to indicate that all enemies on this level are dead.
- 6407Bulk modding your armor increases it to 200%!
- 6408Got the score 22188. DAMN! That Phobos Anomaly is a crazy place. Suddenly enemies appear all around you and swarm you. I wonder if there is some way to avoid being in the middle of the room when that happens... asdf The Marine was smitten by a Cacodemon at the Hellgate.
- 6409The Hellgate is at level 8, which is not too hard to reach. I have no idea how to beat it, however.
- 6410I think maybe I should try delving into the Hell's Arena places and try to get a Arena Master's Staff, which should be really useful in the Phobos Anomaly.
- 6411I tried the Hell's Arena place, and died on the second 'wave'.
- 7753Got the score 24128. DoomDude, my Shotgun/Rocket Launcher-wielding Marine reached the Phobos Anomaly, made some tactical errors, and was murdered by the Bruiser Brothers.
