The successors of this now classic fighter may top it in many ways, but this was the game, I played during my gymnasium period, and of course it holds a special place in my heart. Also, the music in Street Fighter II, composed by Yoko Shimomura, is absolutely awesome.

- 288completed the game with Ryu on 1/8 (easiest) difficulty and got the score: 890726. Balrog, Sagat, and M. Bison put up a good fight, but it seems that sudden, hard low kicks seems to do the trick most of the time. When I lost to him, Bison uttered the memorable: 'Get lose, you can't compare with my powers.' - Get lose? Footloose? When I beat him, I was rewarded with one of the worst end sequence animations of all time... Still, I'm proud. :)
- 289completed the game with Ryu on 4/8 (normal) difficulty and got the score: 997356. Completed with Ryu again. Man, Guile is hard in SF2. And Vega is ridiculous with Ryu. Fortunately, Guile and his Flash Kicks worked quite well. And let's never speak of M. Bison again... By the way, apparently, I should defeat Sheng Long to be able to stand a chance. :D
