- According to my blog from 2006, which was the year when my gamelog started, I was enjoying a lot of japanese games on MAME at the time. Zero Wing was one of the games mentioned for its poor english translation, specifically the famous 'All your base are belong to us' phrase.
- This game marks a milestone on my gamelog, as it is the 1000th game in the database. Hooray! *champagne bottle popping*
- I enabled unofficial theypsilon cores in update_all.ini on my MiSTer and got the Zero Wing core. It seems to work perfectly. I was reminded that I don't really know how to play this.
- This game is so hard. The pick up enemy as shield mechanic is awesome.
