Looking at Hardcore Gaming 101's articles about Toaplan, I decided that the next Toaplan shooter I wanted to play the most was Vimana. The ROM I found didn't have any sound, and as it turns out, a couple of 90s Toaplan games had a HD647180 microcontroller with built-in ROM, that was never dumped before CAPS0ff did some amazing detective work in December 2016. The nice YM3812 sound works now, just in time for me to play it. Great how that all worked out. :)

Completed the game (MAME).
The game has immediate resume-style continues, so it doesn't require any skill to complete it. Too bad.
