At the Indie Village at Gamescom, the first game I noticed was Vectronom, a big booth with cool design and loud music playing. I met the developers, and played their fiendishly difficult demo with two girls, who were way better at the game than I was. It was fun, but almost too difficult. Possibly easier if played alone.

I played through stages 1-7. Fun and sometimes mindbendingly difficult.
Completed the game.
Finished the final stage. The last levels were blacked out except for a circle around the player cube. I have a feeling this actually made the final patterns easier to parse that the usual visual bombardment that happens in the other levels.
