    On the plane from Paris to Rio de Janeiro, I started playing this adorable X-COM-like game featuring characters from the Mario universe together with the Rabbids. The shooting and weapon upgrades are simple, but the movement and team jump mechanics are sofisticated. As jumping is *the* central mechanic of the Mario games, and Rabbids are ... well, weird rabbits, having a jump mechanic in this game makes a lot of sense.
