- 2375Stage 2 of R-Type II is pretty tricky. I don't think I ever beat it on the Amiga. The enemies that shoot through the Force unit is a real problem to deal with. Reaching the end boss is hard enough, but I realized an important trick to beating it: you can actually duck under its drop-down attacks. And you have to make its weak point change positions 5 times to beat it.

- 5891I wanted to try a more faithfully emulated R-Type II stage 4 - corresponding to stage 5 of Super R-Type, that I've been struggling with. The arcade version of this level looks like crap, but at least the frame rate holds up. But it's still pretty difficult.
- 6822After playing the original, I also played a single credit's worth of the sequel, only reaching level 2.
