I wasn't sure if I was ready for a new God of War game, but once I started playing, I remembered just how fun and satisfying the combat is. It feels more or less like exactly the same game as the previous game.
That BJŐRN was a tough ass bear.
Thor and Odin don't look like I expected, but I'm still intriguied to get to know them.
MSA gave me a code for US release of this game. I added it to my US account, and now I can play it with my normal account.
I got a digital copy from MSA, so I installed it and hoped that the savegame from the disc version automatically carried over. It did not, I had to start over. I used the opportunity to record the first 2 hours with visual accessibility options enabled. This game has an impressive array of accessibility options, including colorizing the characters and enemies, which looks quite amazing. I think Sony was inspired by Microsoft's focus on accessibility features in games like Forza Horizon 5.
I caught up to my previous savegame and continued on to Svartalfheim. Beautiful location, like a volcanic lake.
