    I tried this modernized Ghosts 'n Ghouls before I tried any of the classic games. I didn't enjoy it much at the time.

    I downloaded the newest PPSSPP (1.3), and was very impressed at how slick the interface is. All menus can be navigated by controller, and the options are plentiful. After watching Daniel Ibbertson's mini-documentary on Ghosts 'n Goblins, I wanted to try this game again. It seems like there is a lot of secrets and stuff in here, it even has an inventory screen and a magic system. Crazy! You can still only hold one weapon, though, the one thing that can be extremely frustrating about the Ghosts 'n Goblins series. I'm playing on the STANDARD DIFFICULTY, which seems easier than previous games, if nothing else because you have more hit points.
